Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Digital Manager

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Successfully trafficked and reported on a number of digital campaigns
  • Worked closely with the digital manager to develop integrated digital strategies
  • Successfully completed post campaign reports and garnering insights

In six months:

  • Developed client relationships and be comfortable implementing and managing optimisation and reporting of digital campaigns
  • Be managing implementation of social media campaigns across multiple social platforms
  • Successfully planned and executed your own digital campaign for smaller clients with support of manager

In 12 months:

  • Successfully planned and executed your own digital campaign for selected clients with minimal support of manager
  • Built strong and respected relationships with clients and digital media owners
  • Made positive impact on MEC business and our clients business and developed your digital skillset

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Responsible for sending specs to creative agencies and managing dispatch and timelines
  • Responsible for ensuring all approved campaigns are booked, set up for trafficking, setting up of analytics/conversion tags, scheduling delivery reports
  • Construction of client reporting documents; screen grab reports, delivery reports, post data
  • Develop budget management skills for all executions ie. all budgets match the MBA
  • Be proficient in the use and understanding of all planning, tracking and other IPI tools (eg. Nielsen, Roy Morgan. BMD, DoubleClick/Sizmek and Symphony)


What you will need:
Demonstrate a great interest for advertising, media or digital marketing work

  • Demonstrate a basic-level of initiative and resourcefulness
  • Be curious, never hesitate to ask
  • Keep up to date with industry changes and the latest practices and procedures
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate a basic-level of initiative and resourcefulness
  • Builds meaningful relationships with team members and suppliers
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail with good levels of accuracy
  • A good work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills
  • Able to follow instructions, be organised and work autonomously
  • Don’t be afraid of numbers: understand their meaning and ultimately learn to “read through the data” is something that all the best communication pros have in common.
