Mindshare | Media Assistant

Overview
We are looking for a number of energetic and hard working assistants to join the Mindshare team! The main purpose of the Assistant role is to assist the team in delivering gold standard implementation and trading practices . This role is responsible for efficient and correct administration procedures.

The role is suitable for any looking to get into the media industry and learn from the ground up with a key client within Mindshare

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Living and breathing the Mindshare values everyday
  • Building an understanding of all relevant media and finance systems
  • Provides strong administrative support to the team
  • Provides the tracking and validation of campaigns across all media and communicates any delivery issues to the Executive / Manager
  • Ensures all financial processes are followed with 100% accuracy
  • Checks pro-formas thoroughly with aim of zero account queries
  • Completes timesheets accurately in a timely manner

In six months:

  • Ensures there is full compliance with Mindshare processes relevant to their role
  • Prepares and supplies material instructions across all media to client/agency partners/media owners
  • Loads bookings into various media systems (e.g. BCC, Symphony)
  • Provides the tracking and validation of campaigns across all media and communicates any delivery issues to the Executive and/or Manager
  • Assists the Executives with post campaign reporting
  • Assists the Executives with compiling competitive reports as relevant
  • Answers client requests and delivers reports in a timely manner 
  • Attends media owner presentations to build knowledge of media landscape
  • Starts to develop trusted and influential relationships with media owners
  • Keeps media owner contact list up-to-date

In 12 months:

  • Development of negotiation and time management skills
  • Works with agency partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of creative materials
  • Starts to build understanding of clients product portfolio and category
  • Responds to media owners and partner agencies in a timely manner consistently managing expectations


Responsibilities of the role:
Provide administrative support to the team at Mindshare which includes the preparation and loading of material into media systems, ensuring financial processes are adhered to with 100% accuracy, and liaising with both clients and media partners that support the teams responsibilities.
